Our Duct Cleaning Method

Residential duct cleaning involves only a few steps to be completed. First, the vacuum is hooked up to the cold air return duct right by the furnace. If you've had your ducts cleaned before then there will be a little metal plate covering the hole where the vacuum attaches, if not we will make one (don't worry, we'll seal it up after we're done!).

Next, after turning on the vacuum, we blow compressed air down the vents starting from the top floor. This captures most of the dust and debris in the ducts, but just to be sure we then insert a whip to physically dislodge anything that may be sticking to the walls. This happens during the compressed air flush, so no dust enters your home.

We then proceed with the middle floor and basement. After that, we clean the hot air ducts with the same method.

After a floor is finished we wash and dry the grates and put them back. Once the ducts have been cleaned we then inspect your furnace, as clean ducts aren't much help if the furnace is dirty. Once we clean it we then inspect your furnace filter to see if needs replacing. If it does we carry replacement filters, but you are under no obligation to purchase one. All we request is that if you decide to replace it yourself you do it as soon as possible after your ducts have been cleaned.

You should notice a difference in air quality immediately, and we will hope you remember that feeling the next time you need your duct cleaned.
